Under Mr. Arijs, Amazing Estates has been the marketing agent for a partnership involving heavyweight South African and Belgian investors. Amazing Estates is a well-named property marketing company. The story begins with a worldwide interest in development projects in Belgium, France, Poland, the USA and South Africa. Mr Arijs, managing director of Amazing Estates tells the story of how Belgian millions came to be invested in South Africa.

‘’We first heard about investment opportunities in the new South Africa from WESGRO, a South African body which was formed to promote overseas trade. We were impressed, having studied the new democracy from a distance, and in 1996 we decided to invest in South Africa. So we set about finding local allies.

Since the builders moved into Whale Rock Coastal Reserve in 1998, hundreds of millions have poured into Plettenberg Bay. This capital has boosted not only the local property market, but the trickle down effect has benefited thousands of residents in the rapidly expanding community.

With Amazing Estates we would like to stimulate the local economy and contribute to development and will do so with an eye constantly on the environment.
